25 Steps To Creating Your Very First AE Animation + Messin' Around
You are about to create and render your first After Effects (AE) animation. "What!" You exclaim. "I've never even opened After Effects!" In this tutorial you're going to go through a step by step guide to animating a short clip and in the end you'll have a rendered movie. You won't understand exactly what you're doing just yet, but you will have a taste of what AE can be like. After completing the 25 Step animation, you are encouraged to "mess around", make mistakes and have fun playing with shapes, colors, and keyframes.
Artists Practice in Public
Before art can have an impact, it must first have an audience. Please take a moment to share your Messin Around animation to the Clayburn Student Gallery. Name the file with your homeroom, first name, and last name. It is recommended you share your animation with Mr. Williams (and archive work for your portfolio) using your Learn34.com Drive.
Your success is closely related to your ability to work well with others. You are required to comment on, and rate, animations of at least 3 other students. Please be positive, friendly, and constructive in all your comments.
